About The Course
IITT’s Montessori Teachers Training course comprises of the various teaching methods developed by Dr. Maria Montessori. These teaching methods are totally research based and are backed by scientific observations during the process of a child’s growth. This course is taught with a variety of examples related to teaching children in Montessori schools.
The course equips the candidates with the skills of analyzing how children learn from the surrounding environment. The course focuses mainly on the research papers developed by Dr. Maria Montessori where she has stated the fact that children learn naturally. The Montessori Method of Education is regarded as a ‘self-directed’ process and is based on the characteristics that shape the human nature. The course will educate the students on how they can help children learn through exploration. Candidates will also learn the procedures of talking to the parents of their students to discuss about their progress and general development. The course further aims to produce a teacher who can identify the needs of her students in the classroom.
